How should we deal with persistent criticism or even a shitstorm in an emergency? We answer this question for our clients with social media guidelines, currently for a trading company and a scientific organisation. Here we ensure a reliable and above all objective assessment of the topic, define processes and responsibilities and ensure the right approach to the community. The guidelines are applied across all channels, for owned channels as well as for channels that the company does not operate itself but on which escalations occur, especially in crises.
