Challenge
The institution was hit by a ransomware cyberattack, affecting several systems, including key portals for staff and students.
Confidential data – including personal information – was compromised, and access to critical services was temporarily disrupted. Alongside the technical response, crisis communication played a central role.
Solution
In collaboration with the crisis team, we implemented a coordinated communication program, including clear messaging and scenarios, continuous updates for employees, structured external communication, and regular briefings on analysis and system recovery. At the same time, we assisted with legally mandated notifications to affected parties, ensuring transparent, trust-building communication throughout the entire crisis.
